Geological Data Collection Specialist

Location: Logan Lake

Join Highland Valley Copper in Logan Lake, BC, as a Logging Geologist focused on core logging and geological data management. This on-site, temporary role is vital to effective mining operations and resource enhancement.

Reporting to the Senior Geologist, you'll be instrumental in collecting and verifying geological data from drill cores. Candidates should have strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate a dynamic work environment. Your contributions will support geometallurgical initiatives and improve geological models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold safety rules and environmental protocols

• Manage workflow efficiency in core facility

• Create accurate drill logs utilizing geochemical data

• Oversee geotechnical data collection and validation

• Liaise with geology team on findings and progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related discipline

• At least three years of mining or exploration experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid driver's license is necessary

• Familiarity with machine learning tools advantageous
