Become a Geological Logging Specialist with Highland Valley Copper in Logan Lake, BC. Focus on core logging and geological data collection in a pivotal role at Canada’s premier copper mining operation.
In this temporary full-time role, you will report directly to the Senior Geologist and lead activities related to core logging, data verification, and safety procedures. Your expertise will play a crucial role in refining geological models and supporting the safe collection of geotechnical data for mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety enforcement in core logging processes

• Ensure workflow efficiency through regular inspections

• Generate accurate drill logs using advanced data techniques

• Oversee the quality of geotechnical data gathered

• Collaborate with teams to communicate drilling insights
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field

• Three years’ mining or exploration experience

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Experience with Leapfrog geological software a strong advantage

• GIT or P.Geo. eligibility preferred
