Environmental Consulting Co-op Student

We are looking for enthusiastic students in their 3rd or 4th year of an Environmental Science or related program. In this 8-month co-op term, you will collaborate with experienced professionals to contribute to various projects, enhancing your practical understanding of environmental regulations and assessments. This role provides an opportunity to develop reporting and community engagement skills while working in both field and office settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field assessments, including water and soil sampling

• Analyze and summarize data for technical reports

• Support development of impact assessment plans

• Assist with public engagement and consultations

• Prepare permit requests for regulatory bodies

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a relevant 3rd or 4th year program

• Strong curiosity and attention to detail

• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly

• Willing to work in diverse outdoor conditions

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required for travel
