RED SEAL PIPEFITTER

Wage: $52.69 per hour

Schedule: Compressed Work Week (9-hour daytime shifts, every other Friday off)

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Red Seal Pipefitter will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and general preventative maintenance of the plant. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of other tradespeople to complete work across the plant through various construction and maintenance projects.

• Preventative maintenance inspections (including repairs and adjustments)
• Complete documentation of inspections
• Installation and maintenance of equipment
• Using a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications
• Repairing and maintaining pipe systems, supports, and related equipment
• Complying with relevant codes and standards

• Safety focused
• Self-direction and works with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage time and multi‑task to accomplish a variety of assignments with conflicting priorities and deadlines
• Strong problem‑solving & analytical skills, excellent judgment, and willingness to learn
• Proven organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Work well in a team and possess a friendly and positive demeanor and professional image

• Interprovincial Red Seal Pipefitter Certification
• Possessing Level ‘A’ Gas Ticket is considered an asset
• Possessing interprovincial Red Seal in Plumbing is considered an asset
• Possessing dual ticket qualifications is considered an asset
• 3‑5 years of experience working in an industrial work environment
• Experience using computers, hand‑held monitors, and SAP
