RED SEAL PIPEFITTER

Wage: $52.69 per hour
Schedule: Compressed Work Week (9-hour daytime shifts, every other Friday off)
YOUR ROLEReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Red Seal Pipefitter will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and general preventative maintenance of the plant. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of other tradespeople to complete work across the plant through various construction and maintenance projects.
Your Responsibilities- Preventative maintenance inspections (including repairs and adjustments)
- Complete documentation of inspections
- Installation and maintenance of equipment
- Using a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications
- Repairing and maintaining pipe systems, supports, and related equipment
- Complying with relevant codes and standards
Skills And Abilities
- Safety focused
- Self-direction and works with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage time and multi‑task to accomplish a variety of assignments with conflicting priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem‑solving & analytical skills, excellent judgment, and willingness to learn
- Proven organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Work well in a team and possess a friendly and positive demeanor and professional image
- Interprovincial Red Seal Pipefitter Certification
- Possessing Level ‘A’ Gas Ticket is considered an asset
- Possessing interprovincial Red Seal in Plumbing is considered an asset
- Possessing dual ticket qualifications is considered an asset
- 3‑5 years of experience working in an industrial work environment
- Experience using computers, hand‑held monitors, and SAP
