Plumber Journeyman​/Apprentice

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, passionate, reliable Plumber Journeyman or Apprentice to join our Kamloops Manufacturing Plant. Reporting to the Lead hand, the Plumber Journeyman/Apprentice is responsible for assisting in plumbing duties and also supports the installation of HVAC equipment in modular buildings/units from rough in to finishing.

• Installation of plumbing in modular units from rough in to finishing
• Installation of water pipes, drainages and fixtures
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system, water supply network and drainage systems
• Troubleshooting and testing of all plumbing fixtures and systems in the modular units
• Follow all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

• Red seal journeyman Plumber or registered Plumber Apprentice
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials
• Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
• Capacity to lift heavy equipment and materials when required

• $31.73 - $38.50 per hour + Benefits.
