Chandos is offering a casual Apprentice Carpenter position with flexible hours and competitive wages. Ideal for those currently working part-time or shift work while seeking hands-on construction experience.

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you'll construct and maintain buildings while gaining valuable skills in the trade. This role requires two or more years of carpentry experience, knowledge of safe tool operations, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Applicants should currently be indentured in an Apprenticeship Program. Expect to engage in various fabrication and renovation tasks while adhering to safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay building foundations effectively

• Assemble and fasten materials using appropriate tools

• Perform repairs on internal and external structures

• Conduct cement work for stairs and frameworks

• Maintain structural woodwork and furnishings

Requirements:

• Indentured in an Apprenticeship Program

• Minimum two years of carpentry experience

• Motivated and hardworking attitude

• Valid Driver’s License preferred

• Required SiteReadyBC training
