* Job Description:

*** Loads and unloads company trucks, inspects equipment prior to shipment and on return for serviceability, ensuring all shipping / receiving documentation procedures are followed
* Washing and/or performing light maintenance and/or repairs covering all areas of our rental fleet
* Receives order request and preps orders for shipment
* Inspects equipment pre and post rental to ensure all equipment is in proper working condition
* Maintains yard organization and cleanliness to align with Finning's housekeeping and safety standards
* Moves rental ready equipment back to proper storage areas following routine maintenance procedures
* Assist customers and delivery drivers in yard, loading and unloading rental equipment; helping direct them to office or unloading areas
* Gives customers start/stop and general operating instructions on rental equipment
* Perform other related duties as requested.
* General clean up of shop, yard and machines
** Skills and

Qualifications:

*** Minimum three months of operating experience of rough terrain forklift, counterbalance forklift, compact construction equipment, large construction equipment
* Mechanically inclined, self-starter ability to follow directions, work well within a team environment and contribute positively to a team environment
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work successfully under minimal supervision
* Past experience in a maintenance shop environment, mechanical experience, and forklift certification would be considered assets

* Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
