Finning is seeking a self-motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic with a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification. In this permanent role, you’ll tackle challenges, repairing various machinery across forestry, construction, and mining sectors. Candidates with strong electrical, hydraulic, and emissions system experience will excel, benefiting from extensive training opportunities and a supportive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair CAT equipment in a shop setting

• Prepare new equipment for customer delivery

• Interface with customers and support sales

• Maintain safety protocols and customer service commitments

• Troubleshoot issues using computerized testing equipment

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification preferred

• Strong experience with electrical and hydraulic systems

• New equipment preparation experience considered an asset

• Background in construction and forestry equipment advantageous

• Ability to wear a respirator as required
