Position: Field Technician at Leavitt Machinery
Leavitt Machinery seeks a seasoned Field Technician specializing in Heavy Equipment or Automotive to enhance our Kamloops, B.C. service team. Engage in machinery repairs and customer interactions to deliver top-quality service.
As a Field Technician at Leavitt Machinery, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diverse material handling equipment. This role requires strong communication with the Service Dispatcher and customers to ensure timely completion of jobs. Your problem-solving skills and mechanical expertise will contribute significantly to our mission-driven approach in providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment and automotive machinery

• Communicate effectively with Service Dispatch and customers

• Prepare and order necessary parts for service jobs

• Maintain work order forms and safety documentation

• Adhere to all safety policies and report incidents promptly
Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of repair experience in heavy equipment or automotive

• Journeyperson's ticket or relevant Red Seal Trade Certification

• Proficient in hydraulics and electric engine servicing

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
