RED SEAL REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING MECHANIC

Schedule: Compressed Work Week (9-hour daily shifts, every other Friday off)

The Kruger Kamloops Pulp Mill is looking for a full-time Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join the Maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will work in a Kraft Pulp Mill environment, performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment. All positions also support continuous improvement through construction projects.

• Preventative maintenance inspections, including repairs and adjustments
• Complete documentation of inspections
• Follow company policies for safety and maintenance
• Operate hoisting/lifting equipment and complete documentation
• Troubleshoot HVAC problems that impact production and take action
• Comply with relevant codes and standards
• Maintain a clean and orderly work place

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Interprovincial Journeyperson Certification secured through a formal apprenticeship
• Previous industrial experience working in a safety‑sensitive environment
• Dual ticket qualification is an asset
