Join Highland Valley Copper as a skilled Journeyperson Electrician responsible for essential electrical system maintenance. Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and work in beautiful Logan Lake, BC.
This role requires you to maintain, construct, and repair electrical systems integral to mining operations under the guidance of the Mill Electrical Supervisor. Collaboration with multiple trades and ensuring a safe work setting will be key to your success. You'll also perform routine preventative maintenance and address major equipment breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies
• Collaborate in a team for electrical maintenance
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Repair and construct electric systems and components
• Conduct preventative maintenance on mining equipment
Requirements:
• Journeyperson with Red Seal endorsement
• Familiarity with PLC and DCS systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of the Electrical Code
• Valid driver's license required
