Position: Heavy-Duty Mechanic Certified Role

Join Interfor in Adams Lake as a Certified Heavy-Duty Mechanic. This role includes repairing, servicing, and maintaining heavy equipment on-site.

As a Certified Heavy-Duty Mechanic with Interfor, you will diagnose and repair mobile equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Your expertise in hydraulic and electronic systems will enable you to carry out comprehensive repairs and routine maintenance in an environmentally sensitive setting. Work within a multi-functional team to support high standards of service and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems on mobile equipment

• Conduct repairs and adjustments on heavy-duty machinery

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan

• Clean and lubricate mechanical systems as necessary

• Provide service for attachments and specialized tools

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid red seal ticket

• Knowledge of maintenance management systems

• Ability to handle emergency on-call scenarios

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Experience with marine vessel maintenance is a plus
