Join Boart Longyear as an Assistant for Surface Diamond Drilling Operations. This role, offering competitive pay, is crucial for supporting complex drilling projects worldwide.

We are looking for physically fit candidates to help us in mineral exploration, environmental drilling, and infrastructure projects. As a Surface Diamond Driller Assistant, you will work closely under the supervision of drillers and supervisors, with responsibilities ranging from equipment maintenance to sample collection and safety compliance. Training will be provided for new assistants to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support drilling operations with equipment handling

• Maintain tools and ensure site cleanliness

• Carry out basic maintenance and measurements

• Follow EHS policies for workplace safety

• Document daily drill reports and other records

Requirements:

• Must hold a Valid First Aid Certificate

• Proficiency in literacy and numeracy

• Labor experience is an asset

• Exposure to diamond drilling techniques preferred

• Meet Fitness for Duty standards
