Experienced Crane Operator Teck Project

Ledcor is hiring an Experienced Crane Operator for the Teck Greenfield Project in Merritt, BC. Leverage your skills in a dynamic industrial setting known for its commitment to safety and teamwork.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile project, operating cranes up to 160T in various weather conditions. You’ll fly concrete forms and ensure safety through effective communication with ground personnel. A strong work ethic and a solid grasp of rigging practices are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely lift and place heavy materials using cranes

• Operate cranes in fast-paced, crowded environments

• Conduct pre-operational inspections and equipment checks

• Communicate effectively with teams using hand signals

• Follow all Ledcor safety policies and PPE requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson certification required

• Prior industrial construction experience necessary

• Experience with rough terrain cranes up to 160T

• Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests

• Knowledge of lifting practices and load calculations
