Join Highland Valley Copper as a Welder Journeyperson in Logan Lake, BC. This full-time, on-site role focuses on maintaining and repairing mill structures and equipment while ensuring safety and compliance in every task.

Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, this role demands a minimum of four years in industrial welding. You will be a pivotal force in maintaining a clean and safe work environment while troubleshooting production issues. Engage in both shop and field maintenance activities, leveraging your ability to read blueprints and operate various welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety initiatives and enforce environmental regulations

• Maintain mill structures and equipment efficiently

• Read blueprints and welding specifications accurately

• Operate welding and cutting equipment responsibly

• Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues

Requirements:

• Valid BC PWP 7 is an asset

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum four years' industrial welding experience

• Valid driver's license mandatory

• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability
