Position: Journeyperson Welder - On-site Role
Location: Logan Lake

Become a key player at Highland Valley Copper as an On-site Journeyperson Welder in Logan Lake, BC. This full-time role focuses on your welding expertise and dedication to safety in a dynamic work environment.

You will report to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for both shop and field repairs. Your experience of at least four years in welding will aid you in interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting production problems, and maintaining a safe workspace. This position requires effective communication and teamwork to manage daily tasks safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts to promote safety and environmental compliance

• Repair and maintain various mill equipment and structures

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately

• Operate cutting, welding, and hoisting equipment

• Troubleshoot production challenges and implement solutions

Requirements:

• BC PWP 7 certification a plus

• High School Diploma or equivalent must be met

• Minimum four years of welding experience essential

• Valid driver's license required

• Strong interpersonal skills needed for teamwork
