Become a Journeyperson Crane Operator with Highland Valley Copper in Logan Lake, BC. This full-time, on-site role prioritizes safety and precision in crane operations.

Reporting to the Lifting Standards Lead, you will operate different types of cranes to lift and move large objects safely. Successful candidates will have an extensive background in crane operations, with a strong knowledge of load dynamics and rigorous safety standards. This position offers the unique opportunity to work within Canada’s major copper and molybdenum mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate mobile cranes at the site

• Ensure loads are stable and secure during operations

• Conduct maintenance checks on cranes

• Collaborate closely with ground teams

• Document crane operations, load weights, and incidents

Requirements:

• Class 1 driver’s license with airbrakes

• 3-5 years of crane experience in mining

• Proficient understanding of operational safety

• Excellent coordination and spatial skills

• Capable of working in diverse weather conditions
