We seek a reliable operator with at least 5,000 hours of excavator experience. Your expertise with loaders, dozers, and crushing operations will be essential in meeting production targets in a busy gravel pit environment. Adaptability and strong safety awareness are key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate excavators, dozers, and loaders

• Perform grading, back filling, and road building tasks

• Feed crushers to maintain consistent material flow

• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to safety policies

• Support ground disturbance planning and utility locates

Requirements:

• Minimum 5,000 hours of excavator operating experience

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence;
Class 3 or 1 a plus

• Ability to work in various weather and site conditions

• Strong communication in a production-driven environment

• Local to Merritt for reliable attendance
