1. This full-time role emphasizes skilled maintenance of irrigation systems across the district's grounds.

Under limited supervision from the Manager of Grounds, you will perform a variety of tasks, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems. The position allows for significant independence in judgment and task management.

Your role is vital for ensuring optimal irrigation for school facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the installation of irrigation systems

• Perform warranty repairs for irrigation systems

• Maintain existing systems by cleaning and repairing heads

• Blow out lines in Fall; start systems in Spring

• Fulfill related duties as assigned by senior employees

Requirements:

• High school diploma with irrigation coursework

• At least two years of hands-on experience

• Certification as an Irrigation Technician

• Current B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License

• Ability to handle labor-intensive tasks
