Reports to:

Operations Manager

Shift: 7x7 rotation of days and nights

Safety Sensitive:
Yes - drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required

Travel: up to 50% travel

Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation

Key Job Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications for industrial installations

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic control systems

Test equipment and components for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance

Maintain, repair, and install motors, generators, batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical systems

Perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate service records

Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards

Qualifications/Requirements

Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal an asset)

Strong understanding of electrical theory, PLC controls, and industrial wiring

Experience with power wiring for rig or heavy industrial installations

Skilled in troubleshooting and making sound decisions in the field

Strong communication, organization, and ability to work under pressure

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and be away for extended periods of time
