Reports to:

Operations Manager

Shift: 7x7 rotation of days and nights

Safety Sensitive:
Yes - drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required

Travel: up to 50% travel

Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications for industrial installations
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic control systems
• Test equipment and components for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance
• Maintain, repair, and install motors, generators, batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate service records
• Ensure all work meets required quality and safety standards

• Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal an asset)
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, PLC controls, and industrial wiring
• Experience with power wiring for rig or heavy industrial installations
• Skilled in troubleshooting and making sound decisions in the field
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and be away for extended periods of time
