Position: CPKC Diesel Service Attendant Role

In this role, you will maintain locomotives by refueling, cleaning, and testing equipment while ensuring a safe operational environment. Ideal candidates should be mechanically inclined, enjoy outdoor work, and be detail-oriented. Your contributions will directly support rail operations and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Refuel and sand locomotives while restocking amenities

• Conduct inspections and perform simple repairs on equipment

• Evaluate parts for effective reuse and cost management

• Uphold cleanliness standards in locomotive cabs

• Test and document cab electrical systems and safety devices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• At least 1 year of experience working with heavy machinery

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights

• Strong dedication to safety protocols and guidelines
