Skilled Excavator Operator Needed

Nhwelmen Construction is seeking a proficient Excavator Operator for our operations near the Thompson area in British Columbia. Competitive pay structure ranges from $35 to $42 per hour based on experience.

This role requires candidates with at least three years of experience operating CAT Excavators. You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational safety through thorough equipment inspections and maintenance reporting. Team collaboration and a proactive approach to manual labor will support various tasks in mining and civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections on excavator equipment

• Accurately complete and maintain work logs

• Report any equipment repair needs on-time

• Assist with manual labor tasks as required

• Maintain a safety-focused work environment

Requirements:

• 3+ years of CAT Excavator operation experience

• Must possess a Class 5 Driver’s Licence

• Ability to complete required training and certifications

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs in outdoor settings

• Experience operating other heavy machinery is a plus
