Refinish Technician

CSN Merritt is looking for a well-rounded Refinish Technicianto join their repair team. In this flat rate pay position you will focus primarily on all aspects required to support the paint department.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a licensed Refinish Technician.
• Journeyperson or Red Seal certification is an asset.
• Strong understanding of management system and shop procedures.
• Strong knowledge of prepping/painting.
• Valid drivers license is mandatory.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety programs and participate in Health and Safety meetings to ensure the shop is in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Preparing vehicles and vehicle parts for painting.
• Masking and sanding of vehicles and parts prior to painting.
• Buffing, wet sanding and polishing of painted vehicles.
• Attend all daily and/or weekly production meetings.
• General shop clean up and any other duties required from Location Manager.
