Mobile Mechanic for Arrow

Join Arrow's Portable Wood Processing division as a Mobile Mechanic in Kamloops, BC. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and ensures fleet safety through maintenance and repairs.

In this full-time, permanent role, you'll coordinate and perform essential maintenance activities for heavy haul trucks and equipment. The Mobile Mechanic will conduct field repairs and diagnostics, ensuring optimal fleet performance. You will also collaborate with certified technicians for complex repairs while managing routine maintenance and safety inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule regular maintenance and inspections for trucks

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs in the field

• Diagnose issues and coordinate with external shops

• Maintain mobile equipment like excavators and graders

• Complete electronic logs of service and repairs

Requirements:

• Red Seal or equivalent mechanic certification

• Proven mechanical skills in hydraulics and electrical

• Ability to work independently in remote areas

• Clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions

• Valid Class 1 Drivers license preferred
