Experienced Field Technician Needed

Leavitt Machinery is hiring an experienced Field Technician in Kamloops, B.C. Specialize in heavy equipment repair while contributing to a customer-centered service team.

In this role, you will handle repairs and routine maintenance for various material handling equipment. Effective communication with both customers and internal teams is essential to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and repair work on heavy equipment

• Maintain clear communication with the Service Dispatcher

• Clarify job details with customers upon arrival

• Collaborate with Parts department for necessary supplies

• Keep detailed records of work performed

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on repair experience

• Required Heavy Duty or Automotive Journeyperson’s certification

• Experience with hydraulics and electric engines preferred

• Strong communication skills for customer interaction

• Valid driver’s license and readiness for regional travel
