Position: Lead Hand Carpenter at Adams Lake Indian Band
Location: Chase

Join Adams Lake Indian Band as a Lead Hand Carpenter. This position focuses on daily construction site management and hands-on carpentry activities.

As the Lead Hand Carpenter, your primary responsibility is to support the Construction Manager by coordinating crew activities and ensuring all materials and tools are available for effective work progress. You'll conduct regular site inspections, mentor apprentices, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise will help maintain high standards in workmanship and project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular check-ins at construction sites

• Organize daily activities according to project priorities

• Mentor and guide apprentices and junior workers

• Ensure job site cleanliness and safety compliance

• Communicate effectively with the Construction Manager regarding progress

Requirements:

• Several years of related construction experience

• Demonstrated field leadership and coordination skills

• Familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety training

• Strong ability to read construction drawings

• Criminal Records Check for vulnerable sector clearance
