Diesel Engine Technician

Become a Diesel Engine Technician based in Kamloops, BC, and specialize in diagnostics and repairs of diesel engines in a supportive workshop environment. This role prioritizes safety and quality.

As a key member of our service team, you will utilize your Red Seal certification to troubleshoot and repair engine products. Your work will encompass diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring compliance with Cummins and regulatory safety standards. You will mentor junior technicians and maintain a neat workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various diesel engine systems

• Maintain accurate documentation for work orders and inspections

• Conduct preventative maintenance and adhere to safety policies

• Mentor and support junior technicians as needed

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal Truck and Transport Technician Certification

• Strong experience with commercial vehicle repairs

• Valid driver’s licence required

• Excellent commitment to customer satisfaction

• Preferred experience with Cummins engines and inspections
