As a Lane Closure Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting public safety and minimizing traffic disruptions across various projects. You will collaborate with contractors in heavy underground, electrical, and paving projects, conducting vital safety measures and adhering to regulatory compliance. Your effective coordination will ensure a secure environment for both road workers and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain traffic control zones safely

• Direct Traffic Control personnel in setup and teardown

• Monitor and adjust traffic zones as necessary

• Conduct traffic control at special events

• Participate in safety meetings and risk assessments

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of BC LCT experience

• Current TCP certification recognized by WorkSafeBC

• Driver's License with a clean record

• Proficient smartphone user

• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC Regulations
