Reporting to the Supervisor of Mechanical, you will be essential in repairing and maintaining a fleet of railcars. Key skills include welding and the ability to interpret mechanical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and ensure regulatory compliance

• Repair couplers, brakes, and other mechanical components

• Collaborate with team members on maintenance tasks

• Document inspections and repairs thoroughly

• Participate in ongoing training and compliance initiatives

Requirements:

• Must possess a Railcar Mechanic or Carman certificate

• Welding experience is highly regarded

• Understanding of railcar systems and mechanisms required

• Solid experience with technical schematics is a must

• Familiarity with CMMS systems beneficial
