Electrician

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components. This includes wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, switches, outlets, and other related equipment. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

DDC controls work will also be done, installations and upgrades. Experience in DDC is not necessary and will be taught on the job. If you have an interest in getting into the controls field this would be the job as it encompasses electrical and DDC controls.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Follow blueprints and building codes to determine the location of wiring and equipment.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00-$46.00 per hour
