Concrete Construction Technician

Roc-Kon Concrete seeks an Air Brake Driver/Concrete Construction Technician in Kamloops, BC. Bring your driving and construction skills to support concrete projects and equipment transport.

This full-time role involves handling air-brake-equipped medium-duty trucks and actively participating in concrete work. Ideal candidates will have air brake driving experience and a strong background in construction trades. You'll be responsible for various tasks including surface preparation and material transport while ensuring vehicle safety and inspection compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive air-brake-equipped medium-duty trucks for transportation

• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites

• Perform vehicle inspections and complete air brake checks

• Assist with concrete grinding, polishing, and floor levelling

• Collaborate with the field crew on-site tasks

Requirements:

• Valid B.C. Class 5 driver's licence with Code 15 Endorsement

• Experience with air-brake-equipped vehicle operations

• Background in construction or related trades preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills

• Reliable, flexible, and dedicated work ethic
