Fairfield Inn & Suites Ottawa Kanata has an existing part-time weekend vacancy for a Breakfast Host (Saturday and Sunday from 06:00am - 12:00pm). The Breakfast Host provides guests with leading-edge breakfast service in a safe and efficient manner. The Breakfast Host must be able to prioritize breakfast item preparation to ensure a proper supply is ready for guest consumption.

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager or designate, you will:

• Preparing food items, filling beverage containers, preparing coffee and tea for guests;
• Refreshed all food and beverage items as needed;
• Sorts and stores food item deliveries;
• Clears all dishes, food items, and tables and cleans the breakfast room area;
• Maintains all breakfast equipment and storage areas in a clean and safe manner;
• Ensures proper recording of all required items as per food safety regulations;
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with a professional appearance;
• Serving experience in a busy environment is considered an asset;
• Proven customer service abilities;
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills;
• Food Handlers Certificate an asset;
• Must be available to work weekends;
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Please note that the hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
