Room Attendant – Saturday & Sunday Shift

Towne Place Suites by Marriott Ottawa Kanata is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Room Attendant to support our guests by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. This position requires flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays as part of a shift-based schedule.

• Enter and prepare rooms for cleaning.
• Makes the beds according to hotel standards.
• Replenish guestroom and bath supplies.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g., iron and ironing boards).
• Perform rotation cleaning duties such as steam cleaning carpets, spring cleaning, and deep cleaning as required.
• Maintain work area and equipment in accordance with hotel standards.
• Attend to guest calls, requests, and complaints in the assigned area.
• Achieve and exceed guest satisfaction metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Housekeeping experience is desirable but not required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and industrial equipment and cleaning materials is desired but not required.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects up to 25 pounds without assistance, and over 25 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods during a shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination.
• Work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
