Salary: $29.91 per hour. Telecommute Status:

Under general supervision, the Production Control Clerk provides customer service assistance for both internal and external customers' work requirements as related to government facilities. The position requires an understanding of work control standards and practices and serves as the primary focus for internal and external customers. Work is checked frequently for accuracy and compliance with standards and practices.
Typical Duties- Provide single‑point customer service by interacting with customers, vendors and coworkers to facilitate, identify and schedule work requirements
- Compile and record production data by executing work based on written and verbal work requirements
- Coordinate, control and schedule work including processing work requests, work authorization documents, utility shutdowns and support service
- Review and inspect files and database entries to ensure all documents are current, accurate and complete
- Coordinate with tenant commands to resolve issues involving good order and discipline resulting in damages to facilities
- Prepare, review, issue, monitor and update forms for various functions related to work control of facilities and/or facility occupancy
- When required, conduct inspection functions in various barracks facilities housing Marines and Sailors and coordinate with Facilities Maintenance Division when repairs are needed while tracking all submitted work requests through completion
- Provide coordination of data for various government customers and systems
- When required, act as a liaison between the UPH Division, Resident Support Office, barracks residents and unit leadership
- When required, assign, terminate, and maintain inspections of work performed by the Facilities Maintenance Division or contractors in permanent party and transient quarters
- Monitor and track all maintenance based on work requests entered into the system and submit work requests for necessary repairs
- When required, perform quarter inspections with new occupants and periodic recurring inspections of common areas and grounds to ensure proper condition
- Frequently travel between facilities
- Perform other duties and special production projects as assigned
- Minimum of three years of experience in work control, customer service or demonstrated ability to use CMMS systems, and knowledge of work control standards and practices
- Ability to follow directions, structured processes and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively to provide information, complete daily records, and act responsively to inquiries and requests from vendors, customers, management, and to elevate matters appropriately
- Ability to manage and accurately track data, and adapt to changing work priorities
- Ability to follow established safety rules applicable to an office environment, maintain a safe workspace, and adapt and respond to changing conditions applying appropriate office ergonomics
- Ability to build effective working relationships with staff, customers and others
- Demonstrated organizational, problem‑solving and common sense skills
- Ability to use computers, printers, fax machine and office phone systems
- Type correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of structural and mechanical items, facilities, and furnishings of dwellings to determine repairs required and whether damages are attributable to fair wear and tear
High School Diploma or GED.
