Duties

You will perform analyses and support functions in the preparation of budget estimates and financial plans that advance organizational programs and activities.
You will review budget submissions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established regulations and guidance.
You will ensure that all actions are documented and traceable to support future audits and reviews.
You will prepare timely, accurate, and audit ready financial reports reflecting the status of organizational resources.
You will manage tasks related to accounting systems, payroll operations, cash control, and benefit programs.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
