The Engineer VI supervises professional and nonprofessional personnel in a major engineering activity, develops procedures and standards, and represents the organization on technical engineering matters. The position may direct a large engineering section, assist in directing a division or district office, lead teams on critical projects, or serve as a staff specialist coordinating major engineering programs. Located on the Island of Oahu.
KeyQualifications
- Valid State of Hawaii Professional Engineer license at time of application
- Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year school of engineering
- Four years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience with at least one year comparable to Engineer V level
- One year of supervisory or staff advisory experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
