Pay: $35 - 45 per hour (depending on experience)

Part-Time / On-Call Event Work

Theatrix Hawaii is looking for experienced Event Production Technicians to join our onsite crews for corporate events, conventions, concerts, and special events throughout Oʻahu.

This is hands-on production work for people who are comfortable working in a professional live-event environment. We are looking for reliable technicians who work well with a crew, follow direction, and understand the pace and expectations of live events.

Depending on your experience, onsite work may include:

• Audio setup, cabling, speakers, microphones, and consoles
• Lighting setup, fixtures, cabling, and basic lighting systems
• Video, projection, LED screens, monitors, and signal cabling
• Staging, scenic, and event setup
• Loading and unloading production equipment
• Running and securing cables
• Equipment setup and strike
• Assisting lead technicians, engineers, and production managers
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

• Professional live-event, AV, concert, convention, or production experience
• Comfortable working around professional audio, lighting, video, staging, and production equipment
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work as part of a professional production crew
• Able to lift and move production equipment safely
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional late-night strikes
• Valid driver's license preferred

$35-45 per hour (depending on experience)

Work is scheduled based on our event calendar and technician availability. This is a great opportunity for experienced local technicians looking for additional event production work with one of Hawaii's established production companies.
