Teller; Kaneohe Bay Branch

Overview

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Teller to join the team at the Kaneohe Bay Branch with opportunities for career growth and development.

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM;
Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (hours may vary).

The salary range for the role is $18.00 – $21.50/hr, commensurate with experience, plus sales incentives.

As the face of First Hawaiian Bank in our branches, you will provide exceptional customer service, process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services. You will serve a diverse group of customers, from individuals opening their first checking account to seasoned investors managing their wealth.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of experience in cash handling
• One year of experience in customer service
• Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g., retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking)
• Pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers
• Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Basic mathematical calculations and ability to balance cash with a calculator
• Sales skills to enhance business development opportunities
