Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Mission Coordinator - LVC Integration Lead for the Navy Integration Training Environment (NITE) program.
The LVC Integration Lead works onsite at the Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, HI supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center
- Corona (NSWC-Corona) in providing LVC training for US Marine Corps. The Mission Coordinator assists with the planning, design, and execution of LVC events for USMC supported training events and provides expert knowledge and solutions in integrating simulation systems and platforms. The Mission Coordinator position is a leadership position that requires interaction with Military, Government and Contractor Leadership. Communication skills are required.
Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
• Serve as NSWC-Corona's LVC technical and operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of LVC training events. Communicate with leadership on any technical or operational issues and new requirements.
• Assist in leveraging LVC capabilities and strategies that align with goals of the training program. Oversee implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems, ensuring they meet technical standards and training requirements.
• Work with the Marine Enterprise Training Network (MTEN) and Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) local and remote operators and engineers, and external Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) teams to coordinate and plan systems and personnel support for events. Adjust daily working hours occasionally to match times zones around the world where events are occurring. Occasional travel is required in support of event planning conferences.
