Overview

Sr. Workday Compensation Analyst on a 100% remote basis. 3+ months contract. Pay rate open for the right candidate.

Client: a primary Biotechnology company.

Location:

100% Remote.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, test, and maintain Workday Compensation modules; partner with COEs to gather requirements and implement enhancements, integrations, and reports.
  • Lead Workday System Administration & Configuration for Compensation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain business process workflows, security roles, and notifications in Workday.
  • Act as functional lead for Workday Compensation; support configuration and administration of compensation plans globally.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in restructuring job architecture, aligning job levels, and mapping compensation structures to business needs.
  • Lead and manage Compensation testing efforts, including design and execution of test scenarios, scripts, and cases.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields; conduct data audits to ensure integrity across job architecture and compensation records.
  • Provide training and support to HR and Sales teams on Workday functionalities as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience in Workday; ensure compliance with company policies related to compensation and job architecture.
Qualifications
  • Required: 5+ years of Workday experience with a focus on Compensation and Advanced Compensation.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday configuration, business process design, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday EIBs, calculated fields, condition rules, and security configuration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday Compensation functionality, including salary structures, job profiles, job families, grade profiles, compensation basis, commission plans, allowances, and bonus plans.
  • Experience supporting job architecture initiatives
    , including restructuring roles, job families, and compensation frameworks.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Workday reporting tools and data extraction, manipulation, and visualization techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Preferred: Workday certifications in Compensation or related modules.
  • Experience working in a multi-country, multinational organization.
  • Workday System Administration & Configuration:
    Configure, test, and maintain Workday Compensation modules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business requirements.   • Compensation Support:
    Act as a functional lead for Workday Compensation
    , supporting the configuration and administration of compensation plans globally. Provide subject matter expertise in restructuring job architecture, aligning job levels, and mapping compensation structures to business needs.
  • Testing Leadership:
    Lead and manage Compensation testing efforts
    , including the design and execution of test scenarios, scripts, and cases. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to validate job architecture updates, compensation plans, and system functionality.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting:
    Develop custom reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields to support HR and Compensation operations. Conduct data audits to ensure integrity across job architecture and compensation records. Provide training and support to HR and Sales teams on Workday functionalities when needed.

Process Improvement & Governance:
Ensure compliance with company policies related to compensation and job architecture. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience in Workday.
