Bishop and Company is seeking qualified candidates for an on‑site Net Ops Specialist opportunity on KBAY. VoIP experience, Secret Clearance, Security+, and Network+ required.
Primary Responsibilities- Respond to escalated incidents from triage through resolution, including command-level escalations, where appropriate.
- Respond to critical infrastructure repairs, including directing remote and virtual activities to maintain operational effectiveness for critical network services.
- Provide data center support and ongoing feedback where appropriate.
- Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools through an established log and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues.
- Provide incident notification and ongoing updates.
- Plan, oversee, and assist with Continuity of Operations on planned outage simulations and unforeseen events related to disaster recovery.
- Set up, configure, maintain, and resolve issues with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems and equipment.
- High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- DoD Secret Clearance
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA required within 6 months of start
This is a W2 contract opportunity. 1099 & Corp-to-Corp are not offered. H1B transfers & sponsorship are not offered.
Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $35/hour to $40.50/hour (including fringe).
