Overview

Position:
Command and Control (C2) Systems Integrator for the Navy Integration Training Environment (NITE) program. Will work onsite at Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, HI, supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center
- Corona (NSWC-Corona) to provide LVC training for U.S. Marine Corps. Reports directly to the LVC Mission Coordinator. This role involves integration of war fighting and simulation systems, providing expert knowledge on C2 systems functionality, and acting as a Systems Administrator.

• Serve as NSWC-Corona’s C2 Systems Integrator and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LVC training events, communicating with the LVC Mission Coordinator on technical or operational issues.
• Assist the Mission Coordinator in leveraging LVC capabilities and strategies that align with training program goals.
• Advise the Mission Coordinator on implementing new systems and upgrades to existing systems to meet technical standards and training requirements.
• Coordinate with Marine Enterprise Training Network (MTEN), Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), and external Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC) teams to plan systems and personnel support for events.

• 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or 0 years with a Ph.D. or Juris Doctor; or High School Diploma with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Must currently hold and be able to maintain a U.S. Secret clearance; ability to upgrade to a U.S. Top Secret clearance if required.
• Experience with military C4I systems’ operational and technical integration and system administration.
• Ability to recognize and troubleshoot C4I system problems to assure continued execution of war gaming events.
• Experience in Windows system administration.
• Knowledge of managing clients in a virtual operating system environment, creating and managing accounts, and interactive troubleshooting with users.
• Experience implementing required system upgrades, configuration changes, and security patches while maintaining system functionality.
• Required IT certifications:
  Windows Operating System;
  CompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent or higher).
• Well-developed personal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.

• Prior military service and systems administration experience.
• Knowledge of war fighting and simulation systems including JTCW, MTWS, JADOCS, TCS, GCCS, JSAF, THSv2, AFATDS.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting voice communications systems, as well as Windows and Linux systems.

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
