Cyber Security Specialist

, Hawaii's locally owned and award-winning staffing and executive search firm, is recruiting a Cyber Security Specialist to support a leading government contractor at Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base (KBAY). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in defending and securing military information systems while working alongside a highly skilled cybersecurity team.

• Conduct cybersecurity gap assessments and identify compliance deficiencies
• Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and security control implementation
• Manage and maintaineMASS Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentation and artifacts
• Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking using ACAS
• Analyze security scan results and coordinate mitigation efforts
• Assist with Authority to Operate (ATO) activities and cybersecurity compliance requirements
• Monitor and enforce DoD and cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
• Support incident response, security investigations, and continuous monitoring activities
• Validate system security configurations and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements
• Collaborate with technical teams, system administrators, and government stakeholders

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Experience performing Cybersecurity Gap Analysis
• Strong knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Experience conducting and analyzing vulnerability scans
• Experience with eMASS Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes
• Hands-on experience with ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution)
• Understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements and security control implementation
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

• Experience supporting U.S. Military or DoD environments
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security controls
• Experience with HBSS, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, or continuous monitoring programs
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $35-39/Hr. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
