Janitorial​/Cleaner; CF

We are looking for a highly motivated, dependable, and trustworthy individual with excellent customer service skills and a keen eye for detail to join Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) as a full-time janitorial team member. This position requires traveling to various financial facilities from Kaneohe to Kailua, Oahu, to ensure the buildings are maintained according to the assigned cleaning duties.

• Uphold a high standard of cleanliness in assigned tasks, including sweeping, dusting, sanitizing, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and wiping down areas.
• Clean shared spaces such as offices, hallways, and restrooms.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work efficiently, both independently and collaboratively.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
• Empty trash receptacles, wastebaskets, and recyclables, disposing of them in designated areas.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
• Report safety concerns or maintenance issues (e.g., burnt light bulbs).
• Inform the appropriate HBM employee about needed cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Complete all other assigned duties provided by HBM management or property manager.

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Must pass a background check and credit check.
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred, though training is available.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Strong public relations and communication skills are essential.
• Applicants must be capable of performing basic manual labor, cleaning common areas, and frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of 30 lbs (up to 50 lbs). They should also be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk, and stand throughout their shifts.

6 days a week;
Monday-Saturday: flexible schedule between hours of 5pm-12am (30+ hours)

$16.00/per hour
