Mission Technologies at Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the LVC Integration Lead for the Navy Integration Training Environment (NITE) program. The role focuses on planning, designing, and executing Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training events for the U.S. Marine Corps, collaborating with military, government, and contractor leadership.
Responsibilities- Serve as NSWC-Corona’s LVC technical and operations SME, communicating with leadership on technical or operational issues and new requirements.
- Assist in leveraging LVC capabilities and strategies aligned with training program goals, overseeing implementation of new systems and upgrades, ensuring they meet technical standards and training requirements.
- Coordinate with the Marine Enterprise Training Network (MTEN), Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), and external JLVC teams to plan systems and personnel support for events, adjusting hours to match time zones worldwide; occasional travel required.
- Use Confluence and JIRA to share event schedules, documents, and after‑action reports; identify, document, report, and track issues, keeping stakeholders informed of status.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a Master’s, or 9 years with a high school diploma;
PhD/Jurisdiction not required. - Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering or related discipline.
- Current US Secret clearance, with ability to upgrade to Top Secret if required.
- Experience constructing operational and tactical warfare events including live virtual constructive.
- Well‑developed personal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Prior military service at a leadership level.
- Experience in tactical training range operations and management.
- Knowledge of C4I systems and operations.
- Knowledge of Marine Constructive Suite, Joint Semi‑Automated Forces (JSAF) simulation, or other HLA/DIS modeling tools.
- Experience with USMC combat and training systems or aviation combat and training systems.
- May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment; ability to climb ladders, tolerate confined spaces, and extreme temperature variances.
