. As a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse
, you will provide specialized critical care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients with complex neurological conditions while collaborating with neurointensivists and multidisciplinary teams. - Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to patients in the Neuro ICU
. - Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
. - Coordinate care with physicians, neurointensivists, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor critically ill neurological patients and respond to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
- Assist with discharge planning and utilization management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
- Active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS (Required upon hire or within 3 months of employment)
- Minimum 12 months of ICU RN experience
- Recent ICU experience within the last 3 years preferred
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- Critical Care Nursing
