Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.;
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, verify authorized access when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.;
Support hospital operations by assisting with directions, de-escalating tense situations, and documenting incidents, observations, and daily activity in a clear and timely manner.
