Material Control Coordinator (OCONUS) – “W‑TRS” Camp Casey South Korea
This salaried, exempt role requires a Material Control Coordinator to operate primarily in an office environment with limited warehouse work. The coordinator supports multiple end‑user locations in South Korea, managing inventory, processing orders, shipping, and tracking. The position demands independent work, flexible scheduling, and occasional travel within Korea.
Responsibilities- Receive material requests, process and prepare orders, ship and track them.
- Enter data into Maximo to support tracking, completion of orders, and business reporting of status and performance metrics.
- Receive and verify quantities of materials, entering data into inventory management systems.
- Allocate and organize storage space to maximize warehouse use.
- Determine appropriate storage locations based on size, frequency of use, and compatibility.
- Verify storage facilities comply with safety regulations and specific requirements such as hazardous substances.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure materials are stored to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Pick materials/kits from storage to fulfill orders.
- Package materials/kits for shipment or transfer, protecting equipment during transit.
- Label all packages accurately with product identification, quantity, batch numbers, and safety warnings.
- Perform physical inventory reconciliation.
- Provide business reporting, tracking, and coordination to company management and supported US Army Training organizations.
- Prioritize resources and implement efficiencies to meet critical mission requirements.
- Supervise and oversee assigned tasks of Property and Material Control Associates on‑site as required.
(2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (4 +AA) or (6+No Degree).

Required Experience- Experience overseeing the receipt of materials, verifying quantities, entering inventory data.
- Experience allocating and organizing storage space efficiently.
- Experience determining appropriate storage locations based on size, frequency, and compatibility.
- Experience ensuring storage facilities comply with safety regulations, including hazardous substances.
- Experience maintaining a clean, safe environment to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Experience picking materials/kits from storage to fulfill orders.
- Experience packaging materials/kits for shipment or transfer.
- Experience labeling packages accurately with product identification, quantity, batch numbers, and safety warnings.
- Responsible for physical inventory reconciliation.
- Preferred:
Supervisory/Lead experience. - Preferred:
Experience working at a remote hub with minimal direct supervision supporting multiple end‑user locations; willing to work a non‑standard schedule with flexible/extended hours and occasional travel within Korea.
