Shipping and Receiving Office Technician

Job Description

This position provides office and administrative support to Sherwin’s Distribution Service Center (DSC) and Contract Transportation Services (CTS). This position is responsible for various activities related to scheduling, bills of lading, routing, control, accounting and billing, and customer service.

Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday to Friday.

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.

• Provide administrative support to facility
• Receive and record product into inventory
• Schedule receiving appointments
• Prepare bills of lading
• Provide accounting and billing support
• Organize, file, and maintain records and documentation accurately and timely
• Provide customer service to drivers, customers, and vendors

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

• Have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and/or Outlook)
• Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience in accounting, payroll, or inventory control
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience in shipping and/or receiving
